The Death of Film Noir: Chasing Shadows In Berlin

If one could toss a fedora back in time to where what would become film noir actually started, it wouldn’t land in Hollywood in the 1940s or France in the 1930s. If the calculations on my way back machine are set correctly that fedora would land soundlessly on wet pavement in Berlin in the 1920s.

Just not where anyone expected . . .
